About Eforie Sud, Romania

The history of the resort started in 1899, when the first establishments designed to treat various health problems were opened. Between the two world wars, Eforie Sud was known as Carmen Silva, after Queen Elizabeth's poet pseudonym, becoming a resort in 1912, recommended for treating rheumatic, dermatological and bone problems.

Although, years have gone by, Eforie Sud is still famous for the treatments offered, but has also gained popularity due to the fact that it has something to offer for every budget and taste.

Due to permanent erosion, the beach in Eforie Sud had became quite narrow, today stretching on a length of 2 km. Being a relatively small resort, Eforie Sud provides accommodation through hotels, but also, through villas and guesthouses.

Despite its relatively small size, Eforie Sud does not lack discos, clubs or any other delights searched by tourists when vacationing at the seaside, keeping pace with her "older sisters", and trying to offer the same amount of recreational and entertainment opportunities.
